Lamet And Weathers Return But Padres Bats Quiet in 2-1 Loss to Pirates

Pittsburgh Pirates v San Diego Padres

Glass half-full or glass half-empty? It certainly depends on your perspective of the Padres 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates, that featured the return of both Dinelson Lamet and Ryan Weathers.

Dinelson, making his first start off the injured list with right forearm inflammation, went two innings, allowing four hits. Weathers, in his first outing since leaving his start versus the Dodgers are the first inning with arm fatigue, went three innings, allowing one run hits.

Padres manager Jayce Tingler discussed the return of Lamet and Weathers, as well as the Padres quiet bats in their 2-1 loss to the Pirates. Weathers and Lamet also weighed in on their first performance back.
