Extremely Windy Weather Coming To San Diego, Power Outages Possible

Santa Ana winds are back in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday in San Diego.

A high wind warning has been issued for the valleys and mountains from 8:00 PM Tuesday until 10:00 PM Wednesday for speeds to 65 miles per hour.

On Tuesday evening the National Weather Service said that multiple alerts are in effect with the strongest winds occuring Wednesday morning, November 16.

The Union Tribune says San Diego will get hit by back-to-back Santa Anas, raising wildfire risk, with two events this week drying out the landscape more than anticipated, leading to critical wildfire conditions.

The second windstorm will begin Friday and last into Saturday.
