"A Matter of Life & Death" - US Army Says All Active Duty Must Get Vaxed

The United States Army announced Tuesday that all active-duty soldiers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Dec. 15, 2021, and all Reserve and National Guard units by June 30, 2022. Lt. Gen R. Scott Dingle, The U.S. Army Surgeon General, said in a statement that the vaccine is "quite literally a matter of life and death for our Soldiers, their families and the communities in which we live." Soldiers who refuse to get vaccinated face could be relieved of their duties or discharged. Members of the U.S. military are already required to get as many as 17 different vaccines, depending on where they are deployed.
