She's out but Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney didn't leave quietly.
Cheney lost her 3rd ranked house leadership post Wednesday as expected, after a 20 minute meeting and vote by GOP lawmakers over her on-going criticism of former President Trump.
Cheney took to the House floor Tuesday night saying she would not remain silent while others lead the party down a path that abandons the rule of law and joins the former president’s crusade to undermine our democracy. Watch her full speech below.
She says she will do everything in her power to make sure the former president never gets anywhere near the oval office again.
Former President Trump immediately responded, calling her a bitter, horrible human being.
