The clinical trial of Pfizer and BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine shows that it protects someone from the virus at least six months after the second dose. The study of the vaccine will continue to determine if the vaccine is capable of protecting someone from the virus beyond the six month time frame. The vaccine was also shown to be effective against the strain of Covid-19 that is making rounds in South Africa.
