Josh Naylor "It's a Learning Process"

The makeup of the Padres outfield was a big storyline during spring training and it continues to be a topic as the team plays out the final few weeks of the regular season.

Wil Myers has been a disappointment, plain and simple. Fan-favorite Franmil Reyes, in the words of general manager A.J. Preller, was outplayed by Hunter Renfroe and traded to the Cleveland Indians. Franchy Cordero has been sidelined with an injury and Manuel Margot continues to be a question mark.

The Padres know Josh Naylor can hit. Whether the converted rookie first baseman can play the outfield remains to be seen. He discussed adapting to the major leagues, his comfort in the outfield and naturally, his final review of Game of Thrones.
